obtained ध्रुवं—निश्चयेन indeed , surely. शुद्धये—पवित्रता-
करणाय for purification ; sanctifying Dative is used by
the rule ‘क्लृपि संपद्यमाने च’ which means ‘a noun
expressive of the purpose for which anything is done,
or the result to which anything leads is put in the
Dative case’ नृत्याभिनयक्रियाच्युतम् । अभिनय —हृद्गतभावा-
भिव्यञ्जकशरीरचेष्टा: movements of the body indicative of
internal feelings , gesticulations नृत्ये ( ताण्डवे ) अभिनयः
एव क्रिया नृत्याभिनयक्रिया, तया च्युतम् नृत्याभिनयक्रियाच्युतम् ।

अम्बरौकसाम्—अम्बरं ( व्योम ) ओकः ( गृहं ) येषां ते अम्बरौ-

गृह ‘ओकः सद्मनि चाश्रये’ इत्यमर । मौलिभि —शिरोभि on

tifying that even the ashes of the funeral pyre are
made purifying and fit for the use of gods by its
contact This is a reply to ‘ पदं चिताभस्मरजः करिष्यति ’
in verse 69 79

अवाप्य ध्रुवं शुद्धये कल्प्यते, तथा हि नृत्याभिनयक्रियाच्युत (तत्)
