VISHNU SAHASRANAMA 123
Lord (Bh. Gītā, 12-5) says : " Greater is their trouble whose
thoughts are set on the Unmanifested ; for, the path of the
Unmanifested is very hard for the embodied to reach."

Being the universal Soul.
718. The great-formed (Mahāmūrtiḥ).
When he is reclining on the Śesha couch.
Vya. The whole universe is a part of him.
719. Wisdom-formed (Dīptamūrtiḥ).
Or the Taijasa form, assumed by him at his own will,
is radiant.

nations in order to help the world.

Though he has various forms, still he cannot be
defined precisely.
723. The myriad-formed (Śatamūrtiḥ).
He, whose form is pure consciousness, has many forms
created by his own thought.
Vya. Brahmā and other forms were from him.

As he is the universal form. (Slo. 90)
