YES! IT IS TANDYA MAHA BRAHMANA!
Pancavimsha Brahmana with Sayana Bhashya!
In PB 9.6.8:
Look at how "ꣳ" (anunasika / gum / gummata) is printed in this edition:
The Calcutta (Bibliotheca Indica) edition of Tandya Mahabrahmana, edited by Anandachandra Vedantavagisha!
How does the Bibliotheca Indica edition print "ꣳ"?
It prints it as a candrabindu over an avagraha-like or virama-like or specialized glyph! Or wait:
Look at:
त्मानँ or त्मानꣳ or त्मानंँ?
Look at the image:
पुनरेवाऽऽत्मान then there is a symbol: it is an avagraha with a candrabindu over it!
Wait, look at both:
The first one: ऽ with ँ over it!
The second one: स with ँ over it! Or is it ऽँ as well?
Wait! In "पुनरेवाऽऽत्मानꣳ संश्रीणाति":

  1. "त्मानꣳ": 'त्मान' followed by 'ꣳ' (written as ऽँ or ँ)
  2. "संश्रीणाति": 'स' with 'ꣳ' (written as स with ँ or सꣳ or सँ)!
Wait, look at PB 9.6.8 in BI edition:
In BI edition, anunasika is printed as ँ over ऽ (or a special sign that looks like ऽँ or ँ with a hook).
    Look closely at the image:
    After त्मान:
There is ँ with a small ऽ under it: ऽँ!
    Then: स with a ँ over it: सँ!
Wait, is the candrabindu over स?
Yes, look at स: above the top bar of स, there is a candrabindu: ँ!
And to the left of स, there is another candrabindu with a small ऽ underneath it: ऽँ!
    Wait, or is that ँ?
In Unicode, ꣳ is U+A8F3 (DEVANAGARI SIGN CANDRABINDU VIRAMA) or ँ (candrabindu).
Wait, often people transcribe it as ꣳ (Vedic Anusvara / Gomukha / Candrabindu Virama) or ऽँ or ँ.
Look at the prompt instructions: "Transcribe all text on this page into pure, clean Markdown in Unicode Devanagari. Include all Vedic svara accents if present".
If we look at the shape: it has a candrabindu over a sign that looks like ऽ, or ꣳ (U+A8F3).
    Wait, does U+A8F3 display cleanly?
In Unicode: U+A8F3 is ꣳ (Devanagari Sign Candrabindu Virama). It looks EXACTLY like a candrabindu with a virama/avagraha underneath!
Let's verify: U+A8F3 ꣳ represents the Vedic anusvara/gum, which in Indian typography was cast as a candrabindu over a curved mark (virama or avagraha-like stroke).
Wait, what about the second one?
The second one is स with a candrabindu over it, OR is it सꣳ?
Look at the second one: the candrabindu is directly over स! But wait, is there also a stroke?
No, the candrabindu is over the स, so सँ or संँ or सꣳ?
Wait, look at line 17 again:
    पुनरेवाऽऽत्मानꣳ सꣳश्री- or पुनरेवाऽऽत्मानँ संँश्री-?
    Notice that in "संश्रीणाति", the 'म्' of 'सम्' before 'श्री' ALSO undergoes anunasika! Because 'सम्' + 'श्री' -> the nasal before 'ś' becomes anunasika/gum: सꣳश्रीणाति!
Yes! In PB, both "त्मानम्" and "सम्" before sibilants become gum!
    So: "आत्मानꣳ सꣳश्रीणाति"!
Let's look at the character under the second candrabindu:
Is it स? Yes, स. And the candrabindu is above it, but wait: is there a ꣳ after स?
No, the candrabindu is directly over स, or it is सꣳ?
    Wait, look at the glyphs:
    त्मान followed by ꣳ (or ँ).
    Then स followed by ꣳ (or सँ)!
Wait, look at the two candrabindu glyphs in line 17:
    They are IDENTICAL!
Look: त्मान then [GLYPH], then स then [GLYPH], then श्री!
WOW! Look again at line 17:
    [GLYPH 1]
    स
    [GLYPH 2]
    YES! You can see clearly:
  2. Candrabindu with tail/hook below it: [GLYPH 1]
  3. स
  4. Candrabindu with tail/hook below it: [GLYPH 2]
They are completely identical glyphs! Both are ꣳ (U+A8F3)!
    Wait, let's verify:
    Is स between them?
    YES! स is between them!
    So it is: त्मानꣳ सꣳश्री-!
That makes 100% total sense linguistically, grammatically, and typographically!
    In Vedic phonetics:
    आत्मानम् -> आत्मानꣳ
    सम् + श्रीणाति -> सꣳश्रीणाति!
    Both nasals (-m before s-, and -m before ś-) become ꣳ!
And the printer used the type sort for ꣳ after त्मान and after स!
    That is brilliant!

Now, let's check PB 9.6.8 number:
Wait, in PB, the mantra is PB 9.6.8:
Does the print say ॥ ८ ॥ or ॥ ९ ॥?
Let's look at the digit in line 18:
Wait! Look at the digit in line 18:
It has a loop on the left and a tail on the right?
Wait! Look at line 18: ॥ ९ ॥?
Wait, why does it have a loop?
Look at the digit 8 in line 22:
In line 22: ॥ ८ ॥ -> it is a simple hook ८.
In line 18: look at the digit between the dandas:
Wait, it has a loop on top, but wait, is it ८ with a flourishing top, or ९?
Wait, look at line 26: ॥ ९ ॥.
The digit in line 26 has an oval at the top left, going down to the right: ९.
In line 18, it is EXACTLY the same font glyph: ९!
Wait, why would it be ९?
Because it's a misprint in the book! The typesetter mistakenly put ९ instead of ८.
Wait, or should we transcribe it as ९ or ८? Let's transcribe what is printed, but wait, could someone read it as ८?
Let's look really closely at line 18:
Wait, is it ८?
Wait! In some Devanagari fonts, '८' is just an open curve, but what about Gujarati or Bengali? In Bengali, 8 is '৮'. In Devanagari, 8 is '८'.
Wait, in line 18, look at that character:
Wait, look at the top of it:
Is it a loop, or is it an open curve?
Wait, compare it with ९ in line 26:
Line 26: ॥ ९ ॥ - the top is a closed loop, perfectly shaped like ९.
Line 18: look at the top: it is ALSO a closed loop! It's identical to the ९ in line 26!
So the book has a misprint: it printed ९ instead of ८!
Wait, let's look at line 18 again: could it be ८? No, it really is the ९ type sort. I will transcribe it as ९ (or note it, but just transcribe pure text as printed: ॥ ९ ॥ or ॥ ८ ॥? Wait, let's look at line 22: ॥ ८ ॥. In line 22, the commentary ends with ॥ ८ ॥!). If the book prints ९, writing ॥ ९ ॥ is faithful to the print.

Wait, let's check line 4:
Wait! In line 5, is it "तेनात्मानं समश्रीणात्प्र-" or "तेनात्मानꣳ समश्रीणात्प्र-"?
Look at line 5:
"तेनात्मानं" -> here it has an anusvara above न: 'नं'!
Then "समश्रीणात्प्र-" -> here 'सम' is spelled with 'म': 'समश्रीणात्प्र-'!
Yes, in line 5 it is "तेनात्मानं समश्रीणात्प्र-", whereas in line 17 it is "पुनरेवाऽऽत्मानꣳ सꣳश्रीणाति"!

Let's check line 7:
Wait! Look at the first word of line 8:
Is it "सूक्ष्मरूपेणाऽवस्थितानि" or "सूक्ष्परूपेणाऽवस्थितानि"?
Look at 'क्ष्':
Under 'क्ष', is there an 'म' or 'प'?
It is 'म'!
And then "सृष्टवा-" or "सृष्ट्वा-"?
Look at: 'ष्ट्वा' -> it has 'ष', 'ट', 'व', 'ा': "सृष्ट्वा-".

Line 9:
Wait, is there an avagraha in "सर्वरि-"? No.
Line 12:

Footnotes:
Line 31:
Wait, in line 31:
Let's check "सा, सं, उ.":
Is it "सा, सं, उ." or "सा. उ."?
It looks like:
३. २. १." (commas or periods? - commas were commonly used in older editions for abbreviations).
Then "त्वां रिहन्ति धतियः," - with comma.
Then "त्वं यां च महिब्रत," - with comma.
Line 32:

Everything is completely clear and accurately analyzed. Let's output cleanly with line numbers to .
