अध्याय - 8
आधाकम्मं उद्देसियं च पोग्गलमयं इमं दव्वं।
किह तं मम होदि कदं जं णिच्चमचेदणं वुत्तं॥
(8-51-287)
अधःकर्म आदि जो ये पुद्गलद्रव्य के दोष हैं, उनको ज्ञानी (आत्मा) किस प्रकार
कर सकता है, जो कि सदा परद्रव्य के गुण हैं। यह अधःकर्म और औद्देशिक
पुद्गलमय द्रव्य हैं। वह मेरा किया किस प्रकार हो सकता है जो सदा अचेतन कहा
गया है।
How can a knowledgeable Self be responsible for the results of
actions like preparing food for family and saint, adhahkarma,
which are defects of the material substances, having qualities
alien to those of the Self? Results of actions like adhahkarma,
and food prepared specially for saint (auddeşik), are material in
nature. How can these be my doings as these are perennially
devoid of consciousness?
