26. Like शास्त्रवित्, शिल्पवित् would be the more usual form.
27. J. पूर्वादि ।
28. B. मतंद्वितः for त्यजेत्ततः ।
The word बिन्दु is usualy masculine; the correct form should,
therefore, be बिन्दुम् ।
29–30. I. reads छायया after षड्, and it is preceded by चायाम
which implies almost the same idea as छायया । Though the mean-
ing of the verse is more or less obscure, the reading चाधिक्य in place of
छायया, suggested by J. and other Mss., is preferable.
(1) J. शन त्रव, A. F. नवम for त्रप ।
The first portion of line 30 is taken from J. in place of which I.
reads तस्यां नवनवच्छायां, which does not seem to be a better reading. The
further justification of reading त्रपच्छाया here lies in the fact that the
details of त्रपच्छाया are described in the lines immediately following.
(2) I. J. प्राचीन, A. F. प्राची for प्राचीं suggested by B.
31. I. यह, J. प्रव for त्रप । (2) J. छाया, B. मासादौ यावन्माय ।

38. I. चोत्तरतो दिशि for दक्षिणतो भवेत्, and leaves out the next
line, which is necessary.
39. J. reads छायाटोत्तरे, which is apparently a mistake for चोत्तरतो,
due to the carelessness of the copyist.

मान्यवेरके, A. F. प्रत्यच्छायाम यामन्यमन्यते ।
