85. (1) A. omits the first word, I. F. त्रिमयं for त्रिधा suggested by
J. The former word in the latter sense, i. e. to imply three times, is
not generally used. B. तेभ्योऽपि दक्षिणं दद्यात् । (2) B. वर्जयेत् ।
Between lines 86 and 87, the lines 22 to 25 of the next chapter are
repeated in I. through some confusion.
87. (1) A. F. अधिकरण, B. अघर्षण । (2) B. स्थपतिभ्यो, which seems to
be the proper form.
89. I. leaves out कुर्यात् ।
90. A. C. F. have a lacuna, B. तान्य for त्तादि ।
91. A. C. F. रेवकषंख, B. लयावास्तुखवं for the second pāda. It should
be noticed that this last line of the chapter does not complete the
verse.
Colophon:—I. परिग्रह for संग्रहनाम । suggested by the other Mss.
The contents of the chapter necessitate the emendation; there
seems to be a confusion between the titles of this chapter and of the
preceding one.
