There is also a Sārasvatīya-śilpa-śāstra⁴⁰ ascribed to
Sarasvatī.
The Paulastya, Sārasvata, Manohalya, Brahma, Kaumudīka,
Nārāyaṇīya (Śilpa-śāstras ?) are also known through quotations⁴¹ ;
similarly, are Vasiṣṭha, Nārada, Varāha, Māṇḍavya⁴².
Indra, Bhārgava, Āṅgirasa, Dhruva, Gautama, Gārgeya,
Manu, Vyāsa and Bhṛgu are also mentioned⁴³.
The Aparājita-pṛcchā⁴⁴ is said to be revealed by God
at the request of Aparājita ; it was quoted by Hemādri⁴⁵
while, the Aparājita-vāstu-śāstra⁴⁶ is ascribed to Viśva-
karman⁴⁷
A Gārgī-saṃhitā⁴⁷ᵃ was known long ago and a Gārgya-
saṃhitā⁴⁷ᵇ also exists. Both have been preserved in modern
copies.
