siddhânta, are due to the influence of Śrîdharâcârya. There
is, in general, a close agreement between the contents of the
chapter on pâtîgaṇita of the Mahâ-siddhânta and the Triśatikâ,
and it appears that Âryabhaṭa II, while writing that chapter,
made a constant consultation of the Triśatikâ. The following
similarities in language between the two works deserve special
notice :
