95. The author states that his treatment of
Alaṁkāras is brief and further elaboration may be
worked out by the reader himself on the lines indi-
cated above.
स्वयं कृतैरेव निदर्शनैरियं
मया प्रकॢप्ता खलु वागलंकृतिः ।
अतः परं चारुरनेकधाऽपरो
गिरामलंकारविधिर्विधास्यते ॥ ९६ ॥
॥ इति भामहालंकारे द्वितीयः परिच्छेदः ॥
96. This treatment of figures of speech has
been done by me with examples of my own.
Hereafter another codification of Alaṁkāras, beau-
tiful in a variety of ways, is going to be made.
96. From this it is clear that the author’s
treatment of Alaṁkāras is not yet exhausted and in
fact a further treatment follows in the next chapter.
