आकारमाद्येऽम्बुगते घकारमस्ते भकारं मकरे झकारम् ।
लग्ने डकारं हिबुके दकारमस्ते धकारं मकरे ढकारम् ॥१७॥
17. When the 5th Navamsas of Mesha is rising, the letters
for the four houses are आ, घ, भ and झ respectively ; similarly for
the sixth Navamsas of these 4 houses, the letters are in order
ड, द, ध and ढ.
लग्ने जकारो हिबुके मकारः तुले ङकारो मकरे लकारः ।
लग्ने ककारो हिबुके पकारस्तुले चकारो मकरे इकारः ॥१८॥
18. When the 7th Navamsa of Mesha is rising, the letters
for the four Kendras houses are ज, म, ङ and ल respectively ; for
the 8th Navamsa, the corresponding letters are क, प, च and इ
respectively.
लग्ने नकारो हिबुके तकारस्तुले णकारो मकरे टकारः ।
इत्येतदुक्तं चरसंज्ञकस्य वक्ष्ये स्थिराख्यस्य चतुष्टयस्य ॥१९॥
19. When the 9th Navamsa of Mesha is rising, the letters
for the four Kendras are respectively न, त, ण and ट. Thus have I
explained the letters for the Kendras that are moveable signs.
Now I shall explain the same for those that are fixed signs.
वृषे फकारो हिबुके खकारः कीटे वकारो नृघटे छकारः ।
आद्यांशकेभ्यो मतिमान्विदध्यादनुक्रमेण स्थिरसंज्ञकेषु ॥२०॥
20. When the first Navamsa of Vrishabha is rising, the
letters for the four Kendras are फ, ख, व and छ. In this manner,
are to be got the letters for the first Navamsas, in regular order, of
the fixed signs by a wise man.
लग्ने बकारो हिबुके जकारः ईकारमस्तेऽम्बरगे गकारः ।
वृषे थकारो हिबुके टकारः कीटे डकारो नृघटे दकारः॥२१।
21. When the second Navamsa of Taurus is rising, the
letters for the four Kendras are ब, ज, ई and ग; for the third
Navamsas of these, the letters are थ, ट, ड and द respectively.
वृषे घकारो हिबुके शकारः कीटे झकारो नृघटे मकारः ।
लग्ने जकारो हिबुके उकारः कीटे ङकारो नृघटे मकारः ॥२२॥
