LOOK AT THE IMAGE AGAIN WITH THIS HYPOTHESIS:

• म : yes!
• ख : look at it, it has the standard shape of ख! (left hook, bottom curve, right vertical stem).
• ण्ड : look at ण्ड in अखण्ड! It has the little hook of ण or just ण्ड? In Devanagari ligature ण्ड is ण् + ड. Here it's a retroflex ण half-letter or ण्ड conjunct!
• मे : म with े matra! The slant stroke on top of म is े! (Wait, earlier I thought it was two slant strokes, but look closely: it's one slant stroke े with an ink squash/dot, or is it मे?)
